This swingin' seventies General Mills cereal was a cousin of the Yummy Mummy, Boo Berry, Frankenberry and Count Chocula imprints; all were considered parts of the "Monster" family of cereals. While the latter three are still in circulation, Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy have long since been discontinued. But Fruit Brute, which featured marshmallows with a less-than-palatable lime flavoring, does appear in key scenes of two Quentin Tarantino fims - Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
